Go to 'File', 'Save' and then find the file you exported with the emulator. Do your editing to the save. Save over the exported file or name a new one, your original save will be fine since you're importing the data. Just don't save in DeSmuMe if you don't like the changes or what have you. Back to DeSmuMe.
