WebJun 26, 2016 · On 16th June I had a urethral dilation and cystoscopy after living for many years with a tight urethra and strictures restricting urinary flow. I left hospital the following day with a catheter that was inserted during surgery to both keep the urethra dilated whilst avoiding excess pain when passing during the healing process.
