Flyback converter with permanent magnet

WebJan 7, 2013 · I have an actual flyback converter on a chip and I'm thinking of having a simulation platform to model the circuit on MATLAB. This is because somewhere down the road I intend to modify the inductor by biasing it with a permanent magnet in order to prevent premature saturation. Websnubber for flyback converter shown in Fig. 3 is a passive nondissipative snubber [12]-[16]. The nondissipative snubber can decrease substantially the turn off switching loss and regenerated the energy stored in snubber capacitor to DC bus or in the magnetizing inductor Lm of the flyback transformer.
