Web23 Dec 2008 · I've used my Sebatron Thorax as a distortion unit for my synths before and it does a great job, but it's not really giggable and is way too expensive to just use for distortion. You could try using a tube bass amp, that should handle the frequencies and level put out by the synth, but it won't sound exactly the same.
